Wally batty was sent to his regularly by the bristles of noras brush, Arthur's allotment shed was the hub of Walford at one time. Do you have a shed and what do you do in it, whats stored in it?
THERE are shedloads of reasons why you should check out Rossendale Valley's resident David Jones’s bizarre website. An Englishman’s home may be his castle, but paradise for David is to be found at the bottom of the garden – in his shed. Well, in all three of his sheds, to be precise, because after moving to a farm off Warthingy Lane, Bacup, David is now in shed heaven. The 44-year-old drilling rig engineer describes shedology – the correct terminology to those in the know – as a ‘philosophy’; he has created his own website, www.yeti-monster.com, dedicated to it and to shed technicians like himself. One of his sheds has even been converted into what he describes on the website as ‘a private venue where smoking is encouraged’, known as the Hard-Luck Cafe. It is kitted out with a bar, settee and small pool table. David said: ‘A shed is a workshop, a place where you can be creative and a place to escape from the rest of the world. www.rossendalefreepress.co.uk/news/s/1036709_im_in_shed_heaven
